Here you can find information about Free and Open Source Software events taking place near you (or further away if you enjoy traveling!) — we hope to collect all FOSS events that are taking place across the globe and create a easily search-able directory for finding events, big and small.

If you’re arranging an event, please get in touch and we will do our bit to plug it! If you know of an event and we don’t, let us know too! Developer conferences, large and small, expo’s ala LWE, barcamps, LUG meetings.. no event too big or small, keep us in the loop and we’ll try keep the wider community in the loop too.

We have big plans for fossevents, and we would like your help to get there!

You may have recently heard about fossevents from a talk, interview, or other source.  If so, we welcome you!  If you are interested in helping out feel free to send us an email at volunteers (at) fossevents (dot) org or drop by the #fossevents channel via your irc client on chat.freenode.net.

In particular, we need help in site design and technical issues surrounding it, such as mapping.  Please feel free to drop us a line if you are interested in helping out.
