The gathering will take place between Friday the 10th to Sunday the 12th, so book your transportation now. We will try to cover a lot of subjects during this weekend, so anyone should find something of interest. As usual this is both a social event and a place to endorse free and open software, so don’t be shy about your own abilities to contribute. Due to safety guidelines and restrictions, the conference room have limited space, so contact one of us to make sure there’s a spot for you as well. Contact information and schedule are available at http://friprogramvareiskolen.no/Gathering/2012-02-10-12-Oslo

We look forward to seeing you there!

What is sipXecs? sipXecs is the largest open source effort around to build a software application for unified communications using the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP). It is the only solution that aims at scaling to large corporate deployments with several branch offices. It is also the only solution that focused on ease of use from the beginning.

Several thousand deployments of the sipXecs communications solution around the world demonstrate that our vision is getting real. sipXecs has evolved to now being a serious competitor when companies evaluate buying a new phone system.

What is sipX-CoLab? One way to expand our efforts is to foster innovation and collaborate within the community. The inaugural first ever user conference called, sipX-CoLab will focus on strengthening the sipXecs solution; encourage forward thinking and increasing the visibility and use of sipXecs.

Why Should You attend the sipX-CoLab? We know this conference will provide an atmosphere that is unmatched in its ability to further open communications. This is your opportunity to become an active contributor to the future direction of our open communications platform and collaborate with your peers in the sipXecs user community. Share your ideas, experiences, and suggestions on how together we can change the way communications are heard, forever.

Who Should Attend? sipXecs users, developers, IT consultants and integrators, technology business leaders, VARS, resellers, solution providers, entrepreneurs, EDU IT professionals and fans of open source communications

Where and When will it be Held? University of Colorado- Fort Collins, Colorado. The Lory Student Center, March 5. Join us the second day March 6th for a full day of of either beginner or advanced training on our sipXecs platform.
