Apache Retreat

April 9, 2010 5:00 PMtoApril 12, 2010 12:00 PM

The first Apache Retreat will be held in Knockree, Ireland, in April 2010.

PLEASE NOTE: At present, 3-day tickets are available exclusively to Apache committers. Please do not register for an Apache Retreat ticket unless you are a committer to an Apache project. If you’re not a committer but you’d still like to come along, please sign up for Local visitor ticket.

The idea is pretty simple. We’ll take over a youth hostel for three nights (Friday evening to Monday morning). Anyone who’s interested can come.

There will be internet connectivity if your project wants to get together and have a hackathon/sprint. There may be a BarCamp, including local participation, on the Saturday. And there will, of course, be plenty of time for putting
names to faces, connecting, talking, and building community :-)

The Apache Software Foundation is taking over the hostel at Knockree, Wicklow. Committers, join us for a three-day weekend in the wilds of Ireland – socialising, sprints and probably some rain! Locals, why not drop in on Saturday for a (hopefully!) brilliant BarCamp?
